A Bombshell has to Splurge once in awhile.

Being on a pretty strict budget leaves little room to splurge. Every once and awhile you find something you just have to have! This month I was dying to get my hands on the new Urban Decay palette, NAKED2. I could have gone to the mall to buy it but I went online. Sephora.com and Ulta.com are my fave beauty sites. They always have deals going on and free shipping for orders over $25- $50. Sehpora always give 3 free sample and Ulta almost always has coupons. What's not to love about a sale?

I decided on Sephora.com to buy my new palette. They were running a special; 2 deluxe sized skin care samples, 3 free mini samples and free shipping. Even though I still paid full price for my purchase look at all the goodies I got! Who doesn't love a little extra for free. <3

I'm so Happy I'm "Blushing"

Without the summer sun my skin has been looking pretty pale and white. So this winter I have been on a constant search for new blushes and bronzers. I already found my new favorite bronzer and now I found an amazing blush. I am so excited to share it with you!


Since my mission is to find the best of beauty for half the price I skipped the beauty counters and I went to Walmart. I was surprised to find that Walmart carries Hard Candy make-up. Hard Candy's packaging is super cute, and their products are surprisingly affordable.


The blush I fell in love with is Fox in a Box- Blushing Quads in Spicy & Sweet. This blush comes in a cute little box with a brush, similar to Benefits blushes. There are 4 color that you swirl together to make a pretty peachy pink. The blush is highly pigmented and I am really impressed with the qualitly. For only $6.00 this is my new fave! Oh and how cute is the name, Fox in a Box... put on a little blush when you're feeling foxy!

Baby it's cold outside... and my skin needs some serious moisture!

This morning I woke up to a bright white light glaring through my window- Snow!!!  Burrr, was the first though that came to mind as I pulled the covers over my head. 

Durring the winter months, my skin goes from pretty normal to totally deprived of moisture. I have found 2 awesome products I think everyone should own.

Josie Maran Organic Argan Oil- You can use this from head to toe. I personally use mine as my face moisturizer and I rub the excess in to my cuticles. This product is so awesome you can use it as a body oil and it is great for your hair. One drop is all you need, so even though the price may be a little high you can get months of use out of your bottle. Price ranges from $14-$48. 

Josie Maran Argan Oil, at Sephora

Burt's Bees Almonds Milk Beeswax Hand Creme- A super thick hand cream that does what it says. The cream warms as you apply to completely coat your hands in moisturized bliss. It has a creamy almond scent. You can find it at your local grocery store or online, and for only $9 you won't break your budget.

Mani Pedi Day with Mama

Today my beautiful mother took me for a Mani Pedi on our lunch break (ahhh I love her). Thanks to Living Social we found a fab deal at a darling spa called Amorous Nail Lounge in Holladay, UT. Such a cute little place and all the girls were so nice!

During our girls day I was introduced to a new polish line called Uslu Airlines. I fell in love with their really bright and super pigmented colors. Check out their other cool products, I posted a link below.

I picked a purple glitter named Aitutaki. After I saw it on my freshly manicured fingers I knew I had to have it. The only down side was the price $30 OMG! I normally wouldn't spend over $10 on a polish, but a girl has to splurge every now and then.

$3.00 Bronzer? I'm in love!

On my late night shopping trip to Target, I took my normal stroll down the beauty asile. I have heard a lot about the brand e.l.f. (Eyes Lips face). Their products range from $1 to about $5 what a deal! I was skeptical about the quality so I had yet to try anything. 

I normally use Benefit's Bronzer Sugar Bomb, but at $28 I knew there had to be an alternative for less money. I picked up e.l.f.'s Studio Bronzer in Golden Bronze for only $3! I am in love, It gave my face a perfect golden glow with just the right amount of shimmer. Since there are four shades it works great for highlighting and contouring as well. I can't wait to try more of their products and report back.
